How many units do I need?Determining the number of units you need depends on several factors, including the area(s) being treated, the severity of the wrinkles or lines, your muscle strength, and your desired outcome. Generally, the number of units required can vary widely from person to person. Here's a general guideline for common treatment areas: 1. **Forehead lines**: This area typically requires 10-20 units of Botox, depending on the severity of the wrinkles and the size of your forehead. 2. **Glabellar lines (frown lines between the eyebrows)**: Treatment usually involves 10-25 units of Botox. Deeper or more pronounced lines may require higher doses. 3. **Crow's feet (lines around the eyes)**: Each side of the face typically requires 5-15 units of Botox, totaling 10-30 units for both sides. 4. **Lip flip**: May require 4-8 units. 5. **Other areas**: Botox can also be used to treat various other areas, such as the chin, downturned lips, neck bands, or jawline, with the number of units varying based on the specific concerns and goals. It's important to note that these are general recommendations, and the actual number of units needed for your treatment may differ.

What is a mini lip plump?A mini lip plump offers a subtle enhancement in plumpness and hydration. This treatment aims to provide natural-looking results that accentuate the lips without appearing like they have been “done”. Typically, the effects of a mini lip plump can last anywhere from 3 to 6 months, depending on individual metabolism and other factors. This is also a great option for those with smaller lips looking to build and create shape, but minimize the chances of filler migration.
-
Does filler hurt?We prioritize our clients' comfort by offering the best topical numbing available. The majority of our clients report only a minor sensation similar to a pin prick during the procedure.
-
When can I expect final results?Typically, for wrinkle relaxer treatments, you can expect to see the final results within 12 to 14 days after the procedure. Similarly, for filler injections, final results are typically visible within 10 to 12 days post-treatment.

I want lip filler, but not sure if I should do a mini lip plump or full syringe. When deciding between a mini lip plump or a full syringe of lip filler, it's essential to consider your desired outcome and personal preferences. A mini lip plump, typically comprising up to half of a syringe, offers a subtle enhancement in plumpness and hydration, ideal for those seeking a natural-looking result with a hint of volume. On the other hand, a full syringe of lip filler provides more significant augmentation, suitable for individuals looking for a more pronounced increase in lip volume and definition. The great thing is that there is no rush to decide at the time of booking! We can discuss further at the time of your appointment and decide at that time.

Understanding the difference between a touchup and dose adjustmentA touch-up primarily targets subtle asymmetries or minor imperfections that may persist after the initial treatment, such as a slightly raised brow or a small area where muscle movement remains more pronounced. This appointment addresses symmetry and balance in the overall aesthetic outcome, and is provided up to five units. On the other hand, a dose adjustment involves fine-tuning the quantity and distribution of your wrinkle relaxer to achieve the desired level of muscle relaxation and wrinkle reduction. This may be necessary if the initial treatment did not fully achieve the desired results, requiring additional product to further control lines or movement and is charged at the regular per unit rate.

When to reach outIt's essential to have realistic expectations when it comes to cosmetic procedures like wrinkle relaxer and lip fillers. While these treatments can enhance your appearance, achieving perfect symmetry is often unrealistic. However, if you're experiencing persistent asymmetry that is noticeable and bothersome, it may be time to consider booking a touch-up appointment. Here's a guide on when to reach out for a touch-up: **For Wrinkle Relaxer:** 1. **Wait for at least 12 days**: After receiving your injections, it's essential to allow time for the full effects to develop. Although most people can feel onset between three to five days, it can take up to two weeks for the wrinkle relaxer to fully settle. 2. **Assess asymmetry**: If after waiting for 12 days, you still notice significant asymmetry in areas such as brow positioning, it may be time to consider a touch-up. Minor variations in facial symmetry are normal, but persistent and noticeable differences may warrant further treatment. 3. **Call/text us**: Reach out to your injector. Pictures are encouraged. During this evaluation, we can assess your concerns and determine if a touch-up is appropriate. **For Lip Fillers:** 1. **Wait for at least 10 days**: After getting lip filler injections, it's common for swelling and asymmetry to persist in the initial days. Allow at 10 days for the swelling to subside and the filler to settle before evaluating the results. 2. **Gently massage the lips**: Massaging the lips can help redistribute the filler and alleviate asymmetry. However, if after 10 days of gentle massage, you still notice significat unevenness, it may be time to consider a touch-up. 3. **Assess the results**: Take a close look at your lips and evaluate the degree of asymmetry from both before and after your appointment. If it's still noticeable and bothersome, it's worth discussing with us. 4. **Call/text ust**: Reach out to your injector. Pictures are encouraged.During this evaluation, we can assess the results and determine if additional filler or adjustments are needed. Remember, no face can be 100% symmetric, and perfection should not be the expectation. However, if asymmetry is impacting your confidence and satisfaction with the results, don't hesitate to reach out to us.
